What This Section is All About
Growing up, I was always awed by the diversity of airlines I’d see at my local airport (and especially when travelling) - sometimes, I think, even more so than the planes themselves (777 aside). There was something so intriguing about all these companies from around the world, with different languages, cultures, histories, etc, all converging where I could spot them.
In fact, I think I can credit my passion for aviation from this initial thought.
When I got older, and my reading improved, I learned that these airlines had their own histories, operations, and stories that I could obsess over. A goal my father and I always shared was to capture every airline out there (quite realistic). I use this page to track this goal.
And so, as a continuation of this project my father and I began, I invite you on this page to learn a thing or two about these tails and, hopefully, if you’re not already there, you can get a little nerdy about airlines like me.
